Dressed Up for Christmas – Tall Pines Inn brings holiday cheer this season.
We have decked the halls and put out huge lighted Christmas balls. Our staff of Mindy, Audria, Tiffany, and Kim worked in the drizzle and rain to hang several yards of twinkle lights and rope lights in colors of green, gold, and blue. We had a lot of laughs, but the end result was absolutely beautiful. We found new uses for a stapler, decided plastic clips don’t work in the cold, and realized the value of screws that don’t strip! We only wish we could take enough pictures to capture the true essence of Tall Pines Inn decorated for Christmas.

It is our intent to keep Tall Pines lit up and sparkling through the holidays. You will have plenty of time to book a stay with us after Christmas and enjoy some real magic. Sit by a cozy fire, enjoy hot cider, and revel in some lively conversation with new friends. Stretch your legs by taking a stroll around the property and take in all the lights and nature. If you are that person who is not into putting up all of the decorations, come stay with us, and enjoy ours. This is the first year we are decking out and dressing up for Christmas and the New Year, but this will mark the first of many. Let’s make this a tradition. We look forward to celebrating it with you!
While you stroll by our office be sure to poke your head inside and say “hi”. Michelle has an impressive collection of Jolly Victorian Santas on display. She began her collection when our first child was born and has also one Santa for every year since. Come in and take a look at all the interesting festive little men. She has made a point to pick out one different to the collection every year. You will see a gorgeous one with pink roses from the Bon Marche’ in Seattle, another with Snow Shoes and a green Parka, there are some that are quite large and some that are only a few inches tall. You will even find Santas that light up. Don’t be shy, pop in the office and visit with the Tall Pines Innkeepers Michelle and Keith, and share your interesting stories. These new Innkeepers are always waiting to strike up a good conversation with new friends.
When you have had enough outdoor activity head on over to our Deerview Lodge at the back of our property. Our Deerview Suite, which is situated in the front of the lodge, has been converted into a large winter meet and greet space. Here you can come in out of the cold and enjoy the large fireplace. Help yourself to cookies and a hot beverage around the beautiful 9 foot Victorian Christmas tree. Bring along friends or family and make an evening out of it! Let us know if you would like to have the space for a small gathering.
