This weekend is the 68th time our town has hosted the Ozark Folk Festival – making it the longest running such festival in the United States.
Once again, visitors can participate in and enjoy the Barefoot Ball, Singer/Songwriter Contest, free music in Basin Spring Park, awesome arts and crafts, the Folk Festival Parade, and of course, great folk music and dance!
The headliner this year is the “Delta Lady” herself and Grammy Award-winning songstress, Rita Coolidge. Known for hits like “We’re All Alone” and “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” Coolidge has been singing her whole life. She knew at a very early age it was going to be a big part of her soul.
Joining Coolidge at the festival will be nonstop music by performers including Cutty Rye, Lark and the Loon, Chucky Wags, Brian Martin, and The Black Out Boys.
